Starting Over

I'm not in a relationship yet. Hell, I still can't even get past the fifth date. It's been over a year since I started with match.com (for the millionth time), and I'm still looking.

Nothing that I've done thus far in my life has worked, so I've decided to use a new set of rules. Many of you know them as simply "The Rules". Now, I have always thought they were stupid and ridiculous, but whatever it is I'm doing is working. Right? So why not give them a shot. You never know.

I didn't realize that this book controls your every move, including what you are allowed to say, think, wear, hold your head, etc, etc.

Apparently, men love a challenge. Perhaps this is why I can't catch a man. I wear my heart on my sleeve when I should make them think I'm not interested?

Some rules I've read so far:
Don't meet him half way or go dutch on a date
  • Don't open up too fast
  • Don't call him and rarely return his calls
  • Don't expect a man to change or try to change him - Well, this one, I knew.
  • Always end the date first
  • Don't stare at men or talk to much (I might have a problem with this one.)
  • Don't accept a Saturday night date after Wednesday
So, who will be my first victim?
